Kingsmen Ministry

    Recent surveys have revealed that when a child gets involved in the local church that 17% of the time their family will also get involved; and when a mother or wife gets involved in the local church that 34% of the time their families will also get involved; but when a husband or father gets involved in the local church that percentage jumps to over 90%.

     The “Kingsmen” ministry of our district has a deep desire for men to take a vital roll in the areas of leadership, mentoring, personal spiritual growth, and the heart of an armor bearer to their families, churches and pastors.

     The avenues that we hope to use to accomplish this are through our annual “Men’s Retreat” held in May each year to bring men together for a weekend of spiritual pursuit with a group of men from all over the district. We have also added “Men’s Ministry Team Building” events held strategically throughout the district, to encourage and equip men’s ministry for the local church. And we are always looking for new ways to resource and include men for the work of the kingdom.
